Dan Bontrager – Owner, Certified Public Accountant & Enrolled Agent
Born and raised in Lone Tree, Dan has lived in Eastern Iowa all his life. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business from Cornell College in Mount Vernon and completed his Master’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Iowa. He has over 20 years experience working as an accountant with a variety of organizations including a public accounting firm, a venture capital company and a manufacturer. He also directed a private, non-profit school in Iowa City.
Dan is a member of the Iowa Society of CPAs (ISCPA) and the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP).
Besides his professional experience, Dan has officiated high school football games throughout Iowa for 26 years. He also coached high school boys’ basketball for a decade, including four years (1998-2002) as the Head Coach at Highland High School (Riverside).
Curtis Yoder – Certified Public Accountant
Curtis has been working with individual, farm and small business clients for 24 years. A Kalona native, Curtis’ experience and attention to detail are the reasons people recommend him to their friends. Curtis has been with the firm since 1993. He is also a member of the Accountants Association of Iowa (AAI).
Nathan Graf – Certified Public Accountant
Nathan joined the firm in 2013.
Lori Mostek – Certified Public Accountant
Lori was born and raised in Odebolt, Iowa. She received her B.A. from Buena Vista College in Storm Lake and her M.B.A. from the University of South Dakota. Lori joined the firm in 2014.
She is a member of the Iowa Society of CPAs (ISCPA) and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).
Lori Owens – Payroll & Bookkeeping
Lori works with BTAC’s small business clients. She takes care of their payroll and bookkeeping needs. She also handles preparing Forms 1099 and W-2 for all of our clients and is in charge of the electronic submission of tax returns. Lori has been with the firm since 2000.
Connie Ebersole – Bookkeeping & Office Manager
Connie joined the firm in 2006.
